“When I started my private counseling practice, computer issues were the last thing on my mind. As I moved forward I realized that with the HIPAA regulations, the data and client files I have on my laptop could be at risk if my computer was compromised in anyway. As I began my research for a back-up system I found that having a MAC computer presented some challenges. Many companies that back up computers, locally or online (cloud) were based on a PC platform.
